Consul General

Mr. Muhammad Nazmul Hoque joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh in 2003. He started his career as an Assistant Secretary in the Ministry. Later, he served as Senior Assistant Secretary, Director in different wings of the Ministry. He also served in the Bangladesh Missions abroad in different capacities. He served as Counsellor in Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, D.C., Mexico City, Bangkok and as Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Birmingham, United Kingdom. He joined the Consulate General in Jeddah on 17 April 2021.


Mr. Muhammad Nazmul Hoque completed BSc (Honours) and Masters in Physics from University of Dhaka. He is a fellow of the UN-the Nippon Foundation Fellowship Programme on the Law of the Sea. He passed his Higher Secondary School Certificate and Secondary School Certificate from Cumilla cadet College.


Muhammad Nazmul Hoque was born on 01 January 1975 in Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. He is married and blessed with one daughter.
